A night to remember..

This week has been pretty busy.. I've been working my ass of in the last week of training cause the woman I'm filling in for left on Friday and on Tuesday I will officially have taken over the store!
I was working long hours all week so I made the most of the time I had and hungout with my sister Valdís and Tristan and my bestest Oddný too! Her personal trainer has been "nice" enough to butcher my muscles twice this week and since I need the energy I've been going to the gym every day to work out too! slowly getting back into shape you see! :)

I had Sunday and Monday off at the health food store so I decided to help out my friend Oddný and work at the restaurant she works at to make her weekend just a little more enjoyable! I took a shift on Saturdaynight and tonight but I have tomorrow off to go to the gym and just enjoy the rest of the day and then on Tuesday it's work work work at the health food place again!
Oddný and I decided after work last night that we should make the most of the night and go out dancing! I was in need of something really fun and uplifting so after work we both grabbed a shower and got ready to head down town..
of course we decided since it was such a special occasion to take some pics before leaving the house!

And here's us fake smiling.. we've been practising our fake smile together in the last weeks and gotten pretty good at it although I must say that I find Oddný's smile still just cute but mines horrible!












After getting ready we headed down town and went dancing.. of course yours truly wasn't drinking cause of the whole straight edge although I did get offered loads of free booze all night! We walked between clubs trying to find the best dj of the night and ended at one club called Pravda where the music was to our liking! We dansed our asses off and then headed over to Club Óðal (a strip club) to visit Oddný's friends that work there.. ones a bouncer and the other a bartender (he's sooo cute!).. we had checked on them before hitting the clubs but had promised to come back after dancing!
We were just going to talk to the guys for a little bit cause the time was already 4:30am but ended up chatting with them for 2 hours and not leaving until the place was already closed and only few customers and strippers left..

I could barely take my eyes of Oddný's friend the cute bartender long enough to take the picture so I ended up getting his number! hehehe.. what? he was too cute to not to hit on him.. Oddný can wow for that! ;o)

The night was too much fun! I ended up going to bed at 8am this morning and sleeping for 4 hours but hey it was totally worth it! I was a little tired at work tonight but I'm fine now and could probably go out dancing again! but I decided to be reasonable and stay in and go to bed before 2am at least!
I want to think my darling Oddný for last week for she has been such a ray of light for me! and she always is really!
I don't know what I did to deserve such a great friend as her but it must have been something really really good! she's stuck by me for 24 years now and we're closer than ever before! she's my bestest friend and my "adopted" sister!
thank you Oddný for last night and just everything!
The only thing that could make this night any better would be if I would actually get the cute bartender to go out with me like he said he would! pretty exciting..
