I left only my love behind..

Hmm.. I'm being crap again and since I'm not sure who the hell reads this anyways I guess I'm just lazy too..
plus I haven't been sleeping too much this last week and it's starting to catch up on me.. I guess I'll have to sleep a little this weekend.. pffh.. whatever.. sleeping is for the birds.. and Disa honey apperantly ;o)

So news..

I had a Fur demo on last Saturday and then I and my organisation "Raddir malleysingjanna" or "The voices of those that cannot speak" had a vegan party/open house down town on Sunday!












It was hard work cause we were selling food there and me and Silvie were preparing for it all weekend! But at least people showed up and it ended up being so much fun so yay!

I went to see Joanna Newsom and Smog last night..


it was sooo amazing! I don't think I have words to describe how much fun I had and how really great the concerts were! I had been looking forward to them for 3 months and they were everything I had hoped for and more! Joanna played some of her old stuff but also the stuff she'll be recording once she gets back.. it sounded amazing and I can't wait to hear more!

So yeah I went to bed pretty late last night cause I stayed up again talking to my friend Pramen from New Zealand.. I miss him loads so anytime I get to talk to him I just can't say no! Only bad thing is that I'm going to the gym now 3 times a week at 6:30am so I have to be up at 5:45am the latest and going to bed at 1am and then getting up so early.. well lets just say that it's not really working out as well as I had hoped for.. hehehe.. well actually it's just hard when my alarm goes off but once I'm up and especially once I'm there I'm kicking ass and just having the bestest time! hehehe..
It's kind of sad though cause it's the most fun thing I'm doing now.. going to the gym by myself.. I'm not bitter.. I swear I'm not.. hehehe.. just sad that all my friends seem to have more intrest in their new girlfriend/boyfriend or in watching telly than doing something fun! People are always complaining that I never stay long in Iceland and that I'm always traveling and staying away but once I'm here nothing happens and I get bored and want to leave again.. It's just sad cause I was sooo looking forward to spring.. last spring we were always staying up late and hanging out and just being crazy all the time! now it's like nothing happens unless I plan it like the vegan feast..
I'm not saying that I don't have friends here in Iceland.. I'm just saying that I wish they pay more attention to me.. but for some reason many of them seem to think just popping by at my work giving me a kiss and a hug is enough to retain a friendship with me.. of course that's sweet and all but if they knew me at all they would know that I need more than that!
(if you're my friend in Iceland and you're reading this.. well then listen and learn.. what we have is awesome but I need more than what you're giving me right now.. so if you care please change your ways but if you don't then I'll take the hint and move on..)

hehehe.. god I must sound so bitter! hehehe.. I'm not really.. I do hangout with people here.. there's Oddapodda.. although I haven't hungout with her in awhile.. something that will change this coming weekend if I have anything to say about it.. there's Silvie my german friend and of course Fannar aka xthrashmasterx but now he's on tour with Fighting Shit and Silvie's in Germany visiting her family and friends! so that kind of sucks.. o well I'll be in Paris soon and then I'll see my sister and my nephew and maybe even a very special someone else! <3

3 things that have made my week just a little better:

- 7 of my all time top 10 guys in the whole wide world; dave, bill, danp, paul, pramen, james and siggi! they all did something this week to make me smile so thank you guys!
- talking to my sister on the phone.. twice this week! it's soo good to talk to someone that knows you so well and you can just say anything to and be yourself!
- only a week until paris!
