Busy bee that's me!

So I was pretty sad in my last blog.. but with the help of my friends, myself of course and a pretty unexpected message I'm feeling loads better.. I decided to take charge of my life and just make the best of things!
I've kept busy all week.. I tabled at two shows one of which was the Ghost mice show (!) and if you missed it then you suck! hehehe.. it was sooo good and Hannah and Chris are the nicest and sweetest people! I had met Hannah in Bloomington when I was there in January so seeing her again was just sooo great! She really is the sweetest and I hope I'll be able to hangout with her more when I come over again this fall!

so yeah I've been doing loads of things this week to occupy my mind but mostly I was planning and then having a FUR demostration and a vegan feast at my house on Saturday!
The demo went really well! Loads of people showed up to protest FUR and educate the Icelandic people about the crueltry involving the fur industry! I made an Icelandic flyer and we handed them out to people passing in the street and then me and Trigger decided to hand them to passing cars as well! most people were really positive and some even stopped to talk to us a little bit. The weather was pretty shitty but I was really pleased to see everybody that showed up! The newspaper called me yesterday and took a interview with me.. I'm quite pleased with it though there are somethings that I'm not as happy with but well.. it was in the paper today:

"Núna er komið á markaðinn flís og ýmis önnur góð nútímaefni. Það er því engin afsökun til þess að klæðast loðfeldi í dag. Þetta er úreld hugmynd sem tengdist velgengni og velmegun."

Að sögn Hönnu trúa félagsmenn því að allar lifandi verur eigi rétt á að lifa og geri það á sínum forsendum. "Félagið berst gegn öllu arðráni manna á dýrum, því dýrin eru ekki okkar til að borða, klæðast, gera tilraunir á eða nota til skemmtanagildis," segir Hanna. Aðspurð segist hún ánægð með fjölda þátttakenda á fundinum sl. laugardag.

"Viðstaddir voru á öllum aldri og var mjög gaman að sjá hversu margir eru sammála þessu sjónarmiði og vilja vekja athygli á þessu," segir Hanna og tekur fram að félagið, sem er rúmlega árs gamalt, hyggst standa fyrir áframhaldandi mótmælafundum á Lækjartorgi í allt sumar ýmist mánaðarlega eða hálfsmánaðarlega. Næsti fundur verður laugardaginn 13. maí upp úr hádeginu. "Okkur þykir mikilvægt að skapa vettvang fyrir grænmetisætur til þess að hitta aðrar grænmetisætur og róttæklinga sem hafa áhuga á þessum málefnum," segir Hanna að lokum."

Then that night we had vegan feast numero dos! It was a even bigger success than the one before! And even more people showed up! It went really well.. everybody brought something vegan with them and because the weather was so nice people were eating both inside the appartment and outside in the garden!
So many people came and I really enjoyed all their companies!

To all I want to say thanks for coming and enjoying the evening with me! I will definitely keep doing these vegan feast since everbody seems to like them as much as I do! I had the bestest time with you guys!

After watching the movie the other day I decided to read the book again so I'm currantly reading Pride and Prejudice! It's such an amazing book and Jane Austin is such an amazing writer! I really love this story! I can't put down the book! I'm totally hooked!
