Welcome to the story of my life..

What on earth have you done to poor Mr. Darcy?

So I can't put down the book I'm reading.. I mean I've read it a few times but it seems I had forgotten how extremely good this book is! plus it's such a delight to read something written with such delicasy that you just want to start speaking in that manner.. sometimes I even wish I was born in these times.. the time of Jane Austin and Oscar Wilde and those great writers.. not because I think it was more simple in those days but I just really like everything about that time.. I love the the clothes..

And just how people behaved to one another and talked together.. after reading this book again I find myself thinking more and more about how different things are today than they were! I mean today touches for example are a lot more frequent than they were in those days.. today we shake hands, we kiss on the cheeks, sometimes two or three times.. touching strangers is just something natural but in those days you could know a person for months and never touch them! and talking to each other too.. I mean you could like a person for months without them knowing it cause you rarely got a one on one time with them.. except of course if you went to a ball but still even there you would have your parents around so talking about more important things than ones health and such was just not going to happen.. except if you asked that person to dance.. than the dancing would allow you to talk more freely away from your parents and also while dancing you were allowed to touch!
It just fascinates me to think about how everything was in those times.. and when I think about it I think I would have loved being born around 1800.. I mean I'm pretty sure I would have lived a good life if I had been born then.. especially if I had been from a good family, had a good name to back me up and all then I think I would have done well in those times!
..Man one can dream..
If you find a way to build a time machine and need someone to test it for you then let me know ok?

Well anyways talking about delicasy and all things dear to my heart lets move back to the real world for a second.. hehehe.. news.. ok so yeah I've decided that I can't live without my dearest sister and her sweet son Tristan any longer! I haven't seen him since the end of November and her since the beginning of December! It is far too long to keep away from someone you care so much about so I've decided that I'm going to Paris in the end of the month! Yes I already bought the tickets and everything! I'll be going there the 26th of May and coming back a week later or the 2nd! I really can't wait!!! I've never been and always wanted to go and now I am! It's just too good to be true.. this means I'll
1. see my sister and Tristan sooner than I thought I would and be able to hangout with just the two of them for a whole week!
2. quit my job a little bit sooner and start my RAD summer a little bit sooner too!
3. is there a number three? I think number 1 and 2 are quite good enough reasons!
So yeah Paris in spring.. sounds delightfull right?

I'm still reading
Pride and Prejudice

Although since I can't put it down I'm almost done with it.. man o man.. what will I do then.. no more Mr.Darcy and Lizzy! What will become of me?!?

Hmmm... Isn´t it delightful to be repressed, forced into marriage with people you dont like but who have the right surnames, to not be allowed to educate yourself, have a job, make your own decisions, to be forced to wear clothes that physically hurt all the time, not be able to travel anywhere outside of your shire´s radius, not be able to be a person but rather some kind of a puppet? I think ignorance is agony and at that time ignorance wasn´t even a choice for women. I mean for example imagine the DISGRACE you would have brought upon your family if you had protested animal farming in those days! You´d have been outcast. Forced to earn a living as a maid or a whore for the rest of your life... That or shut your mouth and smile!
No sis i think we are 21st century women me and you.

Ps It´s 23°C and sunny here in Paris. The best time to visit!
