On the road again, I can't wait to be on the road again..
Nahh not really.. I am though.. traveling again that is!
I left Iceland on the 17th of October with Trigger by my side and we headed to London once again. There we met up with our very good friend Paul and after taking the usual stop at Indian veg we headed to a bar (DJAMMID!) where our good friends in Defiance, ohio were playing that night! We arrived early so there was plenty of time to hangout before the show and the reunion was a happy one! We had last saw the guys when they were starting their Europe tour in September when I put up two shows for them in Iceland and they hung out with us over a weekend! Seeing them again was so great! they are one of the best people I know and I care so much about them! Especially my friend Ryan who has a very special place in my heart :o)

We left London the next day on a plan heading to Spain.. we landed in Barcelona and met up with our friends Miguel and Buzz there! we met them when we did the Running of the Nude in Pamplona this summer! they are such great guys and we spent a week there at Miguels house! Barcelona was amazing! All the people we met (well most of them at least) were super nice and made us feel so welcome!
I got sick after a couple of days.. but that's what you get when you work almost constantly for 2 whole months without taking time to nurish yourself or your soul in almost anyway.. I was kind of expecting to get sick but that's not to say I wasn't dissapointed when I did cause it did effect my enjoyment of my stay in Barcelona!
But nevertheless.. I had a very bad headache for 3 whole days and then it started to get better although I still have the cold and the cough so I'm not quite good yet!

But like I said Barcelona was amazing! I really enjoyed being there and seeing my friend Miguel again.. I loved seeing Buzz too but unfortunately I wasn't able to hangout with him as much as I had hoped to.. but that's life..

we left for the airport on the morning of the 26th of October.. I sent Trigger on his flight back to England but he had some business there and was meeting up with some friends there.. I on the other hand hungout at the airport for 2 more hours and then headed on board a plane that brought me here.. to Paris!

Yes I'm back in Paris visiting my sister Valdis and my nephew Tristan! I've been here for almost a week but I already have another week before I head back to Iceland! So far it's been tons of fun! I was really tired when I got here so I've mostly been enjoying having time off and then hanging out with my sister and nephew as much as I can! I missed them so much so being here is just like something out of a dream! We've been enjoying each other companies.. playing with Tristan, having dinner or lunch with the lille familie (that includes my sister's boyfriend Tommi) and doing all sorts of sister stuff with my sister!
I have to say I have really been enjoying being here! I'm happy I have another whole week left before I leave! So much exciting things happening too in the last week here!
I do have to say that leaving such a big part of my heart in Iceland has made me more homesick for Iceland now than I have ever been on my travels before.. I was really torn between enjoying my time here and looking forward to going home to my love that I miss so much.. luckily I manage to find the balance and now I'm content of doing both! I'm really enjoying my time here with my sister, nephew and of course Tommi but I'm also looking forward to heading back home and seeing my sweet again!

But like I said before.. I have a whole week left! and I'm going to enjoy it! but first I'm heading out to get some baquettes so I can have some breakfast cause I'm starving!

somewhere somehow I got everything backwards

First I want to appologize for being crap for writing you guys and keeping in touch in these last two months or so! I haven't even gotten my lazy ass to write a blog here for over two months! ahh.. I know I'm crap but hopefully you'll forgive me when I explain why I haven't been blogging or keeping in touch as much..

So the last time I blogged I was about to start my new job as store manager at the health food store.. well I did just that but by doing so I gave up my life and soul to the company.. for serious! Not only was I working all the freaking time but those few times I actually I had a day off or just some time off I was soooo tired after working so much that I never really accomplished anything! It's been really tiring.. never being able to all the things you want to do.. and always working.. long hours on weekdays and always something on weekends as well!
Don't get me wrong at first I loved it.. I would even say that I was damn good at it! My staff and bosses were all telling me how great a job I was doing and how amazing the store looked and everything! But that just wasn't enough.. I need time for myself and my friends and family and as the weeks went by I could feel myself getting more and more tired! constantly working my ass of and never getting enough time off for a recharge!
I decided after giving it alot of thought to not except the promotion! I mean apart from the tired all the time and not having time for myself and others many other things played a part in my decision.. a new boss who is not as great as my old one.. not being ready staying in one place like this.. and many other things..
so here I am again! back at square one! making new plans for the future and what I shall do in the next months! well I have some plans already.. but first I'm going to go away for a bit again! yes you know me.. having a hard time staying in one place!
On Tuesday I'm off with Trigger on another adventure! we're going to London to see our friends there and also our friends Defiance, ohio from bloomington, indiana are playing a show that night in London that we're going to catch! then it's off to Spain! yes we're going back to Spain! this time going to see our friends in Barcelona! we're staying there for a week and then Trigger heads back to England and I'm off to Paris to spend time with my sister there and my nephew Tristan! I'm sooo excited about this trip! you wouldn't believe! I need the time off after all that's been going on! Need some time to sort things out in my head and such!

Still things are a little different than I had planned 2 months ago.. with this decision everything I had planned for the next 8 or so months has changed.. but I'm making different plans now.. I'm not sure exactly how things will turn out just know that I'll be leaving Iceland which means people I love that live outside of Iceland might be seeing me a little sooner than you had hoped..
I'll keep you guys posted on how things are going and everything! I promise!

But I guess this will be all for now.. I went out dancing last night and stayed up 'till 6am so I'm pretty beat.. I think I'm off to enjoy a nice cozy evening with a very handsom man I know.. so appologizes again from your girl and I hope to hear from you all soon!
