And in the blink of an eye everything changed..

Ok first.. a little emo trip before my big news..

This little angel is home in Iceland with his beautiful mother (my sister) over the summer.. they have both made my summer so much better just by being so close! I love them more than they will ever know or realise and I really hope I can be there for them always!

And this girl! I don't even know where I would be if I didn't have her in my life! She's known me all my life (well she one month younger than me!) and she still thinks of me as her bestest friend! She's seen me at some of the lowest periods of my life but still loves me with all my flaws and weaknesses! She's my best friend and even though we don't share the same mom and dad she is and always will be my adopted sister! Oddapoddan min! I love you sooo much! thanks for everything!

ok that's all I wanted to say..

No just kidding.. so listen up now for the big news everybody!

I got offered a promotion at the health food store last week and.. I took it!
One of the store mananger is going away to Denmark for a year and they offered me the store management of her store while she's gone! It's weird.. the reason they offered it was because I called my boss to quit! Well I got offered another job and also I wasn't happy with the salary so I called in to quit but my boss said she didn't want to lose me and offered me a raise first! I said I would think about it and when I was thinking about that my boss called me again and offered me the promotion! it's really big cause it's the store in the mall and they focus the most energy on it and being in charge of it would be a great opportunity for me!
I met with my boss after I had thought about it for a couple of days and we went over my demands and such and then the next morning she called me to tell me they were willing to meet them all and I had over night to think it through!
so I did and then the next day I called her and accepted!

I'm really excited about it!

Of course there are some cons too of taking this job..
I'll have to take it for the whole year which means I'll be "stuck" in Iceland until July next year and won't be able to travel until then! I mean they were willing to let me do the Defiance, Ohio tour in October cause I said I wouldn't back out of that no matter what and I should be able to go for weekend trips and maybe one week trips once in awhile too.. but no big travels of course that only include one way tickets.. hehehe..
also it's a very stressful position.. it's the store in the mall so it's going to be hard work.. also over Christmas it's opened longer so more work for me.. but I do get paid extra for weekends and after 7pm so that's good.. I only have to hand in so many hours per month..

but I guess it's ok cause now I have the next 3 month to see if I like it or not.. that's my trail period so I can make up my mind if I want to do it for the whole year..
If I don't like it.. I think it's too stressful.. being in Iceland is too hard.. I'm not getting as much paid as I think I should be getting.. I'm needed somewhere else.. or just anything.. I'll quit and either find something else to do here in Iceland or leave Iceland to do something else..
If on the other hand I do like it then I'm doing it until the end of June 2007 and then I'm free to do whatever I want.. move to Europe or the states.. travel to all the places I want to see.. anything really! cause I'll be making a lot more in this possition than the one I have now and I'll have loads of money saved up by that time!

so it's pretty exciting.. I'm just going to work my ass off for the next 3 months and see what I think of it and everything! then I'll see..

so yeah.. big decisions going on here..

but what do you guys think? smart move or not? I mean it will help me pay for the car sooner and I'll be able to pay my bank back too AND safe up more money to travel more and visit you all!
but still seriously what do you think?




O and summary of my blog for Pramen! ;o)
- I love my sister and my nephew very much.. yes the one you heard me talking to when we were on the phone the other day! and my best friend and adopted sister Oddny too!
- I took the job offer!
- I have 3 months to decide if I'll be doing it until next summer or if I'll stick with traveling and having no responsibility! a tough one I know.. what do you think?
That's about it! o and you should try calling me again! maybe just text me first the night before (which would be in the morning in NZ when you're at work) or something so I can wake up early and answer! :o)

It all started with bording the plane of course.. look how excited Trigger is.. or not..















Trigger decided that he was bored with my company as soon as we took off and had a nap..

















We got to London and got on a train to Leeds..














we didn't get into Leeds until 2:30am so I fell asleep and Trigger played with my camera while I slept..














We finally got to Leeds and met up with dave!!!














He is soooo ace!
We went to his work the next day cause he couldn't get the day off.. but it was ok cause he works at the cinema and we went to see Over the hegde which is a pretty hilarious movie! then we hungout with dave while he worked those last hours..


















The next day Dave had the day off so we went into town to get hay medicine for Trigger cause his allergy was starting to kick in.. but after awhile me and dave decided to leave him and have some fun just the two of us.. so we left him at this tree.. he wasn't too happy about it..



















but well he got over it..
that night there was a thunderstorm so the three of us had dinner by dave's window and watched the lightings.. hoping they would hit something.. hehehe..














The next day we headed back into London on a train to meet up with the other activists and get on a bus that was going to take us to Pamplona.. the bus ride was awful.. it took us 21 hour to get from London to Spain and if it hadn't been for all the fantabulous AR people and veg and vegans on board than we probably would have died..
when we finally got there we had a few hours to kill until the big vegan bbq that night and the only thing we could think about doing was to go to the lake and soak up the sun for a little bit..


















We did meet some really really cool people on the bus that we hungout with a lot on this trip..

we waited a long time.. but it was worth it cause the food was sooooo good!














Everybody eat sooo much and than afterwards we just sat around talking..

















After that we met up with these three amazing guys (Buzz, Miguel and Sky) that all live in Barcelona and played frizbee with them until it was too dark to see! then Trigger and I decided to be senseble and both took a shower and went to bed cause we both were really tired after the bus ride.. plus the next day was the big day.. the run itself!
The next day we woke up pretty early and were packed into our busses again and sent to Pamplona!

Everybody was really excited about the run and everywhere people were getting undressed.. painting each other.. putting on masks.. talking and just enjoying themselves!













Some like our friends from Barcelone took it a little further and just really went all out to catch the medias attention and have fun doing it..



















But soon everybody found their place and got ready to start the dancing in the streets of Pamplona..

Those drummers sure kept the crowd dancing and all our spirits up while we marched/danced through the streets of Pamplona!

And here we are after the run.. a little tired and in need of our clothes back..














We found our clothes and met up with our friends from Barcelona and our Polish friends.. we were all very hungry so we started looking for one of the few chinese restaurants in town.. we met up with some people on the way that were looking for the same thing and in the end we all just went out to eat together! I shared some really jummy vegan food with Miguel! it was sooo good! mmmm...














then that night after walking in Pamplona there was a party at the campground.. a band came and played for us while we danced some more!














Then Sky and Buzz did a fire show.. soooo amazing!

















They are soooo talented!
































..what happened later that night is all a blur.. no not really I just didn't take any pictures cause it was really too dark.. we hungout with our friends from Barcelona and ended up having a party in Buzz's tent! the party turned into a sleepover so the next morning I woke up in Buzz's tent and me and him and Miguel and Sky and Trigger all went to the lake to chill out there.. we all got undressed seeing that was the theme of the trip and sunbathed naked all day..
and the answer to your question is yes.. yes I truly was in heaven that day! I was naked on a hot day in Spain next to a lake with three beautiful men around me.. one that was stroking my back while I fell in and out of sleep.. could it get any better?!? I don't think so! ;o)
After just before we decided to head back Miguel and his friend Emma (I'm not sure how to write her name) went sailing on a boat there.. both naked of course.. hehehe..















That night the guys showed and taught us some aerobatic tricks..











they're really good at aerobatics!

























































O and buzz taught me how to juggle! He's the best teacher! for serious!












That night was spent enjoying the time we had with these amazing people we had met on the trip! It was the last night so everybody wanted to make the most of it and didn't sleep unless they had someone to cuddle next to.. it was a great night although it was filled with a little anxiety for the morning after when we were to leave Pamplona and say goodbye to our new friends..
The morning was even harder and as the busses rolled out of the parking lot I waved with tearfilled eyes to our dear friends hoping with all my heart we would meet again soon..


Few hours later we ourself were back on a bus heading to London.. Trigger was tired and slept on the floor for a little bit..














We got to London 21 hour later and we said goodbye to the rest of the people.. it was soo hard!
Here's Matt.. he works for Peta in London.. he's really amazing and made this trip so much better! I hope we'll keep in touch!














And this is the most amazing girl you will ever find in London! her name is Lauren and she's just a star! she kept everybody happy in this trip with her big smile and her always being willing to make your trip as comfretable as possible! always asking how you were and just being awesome! I'm pretty sure me and her will keep in touch for the rest of our lives! she's too amazing to let go of!
















After all the goodbyes we went with few of our friends to Indian Veg at Angel! probably one of the top 5 restaurant I have ever been to! It's soo good that me and Trigger always go there when we go to London..



















And who interduced us to it.. Paul of course!

But of course you guys that know us know that it wouldn't be a Trigger and Hanna trip if there wasn't something missed.. so this time we missed our bus to Leeds! Trigger got lost..



















But in the end I found him (yes I found Trigger in London!) and we caught the next bus and went to Leeds and saw our friends in the Humanfly play.. they are soooo good! and we were just in time!

































Yay! this is sooo exciting!



















Well that was our trip! My camera went dead after that.. so no more picture but it was just as well we spent the last day in Leeds with Dave and then took a bus back to London to catch our flight.. we almost missed our flight though.. hehehe.. yeah we know.. we actually got to the gate 5 minutes until the plane was suppose to leave! cutting it close anyone?

So yeah this trip was just awesome in every way! being a part of the Running og the Nude was probably one of the most amazing thing I have ever been a part of! I'm definitely going next year and Trigger too! You should come with us!

I have some news but I'm not going to write more now.. I think this will do for now.. hehehe.. hope you guys enjoyed my photoblog.. I had loads of fun making it!
And to all the people I met on this trip.. thank you guys! I had such a great time with you! I hope to keep in touch with all of you cause you guys are just simply the best.. dumdumdumm.. better than all the rest.. dumdumdumm.. better than anyone.. anyone I ever known! <3
