I watched the most beautiful and elegant movie last night.. and again this morning.. it was just too good to return it right away.. it was Jane Austin's Pride & Prejudice.. the new one with Keira Knightly and Matther Macfayden I think his name is..
Of course being the Jane Austin fan that I am I've read the book soooo many times but I have to say that this movie totally blew me away! So many had told me that it was nothing special and that it didn't do the book credit or something like that.. well I don't agree with them at all.. it's beuatifully set up, the actors are among the finest actors in Britain and it's just magical in so many ways!
It was just what this little lady needed since I've been feeling a little sad in these last days and especially since Sunday morning after I woke from one of the worst nightmares I've had in a long time.. I've been a sort of a mess since then.. not really down but just sad.. and for some reason I'm having a hard time shaking it off.. I don't know why but it's just sticking with me no matter what I do.. so if you meet me in the next days I want to appologize before if I might seems indifferent to or with you or anything like that.. know now that it's not you.. I'm just not quite myself these last days.. feeling a little broken inside and not sure how to fix it..

Yeah but this movie.. It's so magical..

It's so.. so.. so wonderful.. it even made me miss love and being in love although I do believe that it will be long time until this little lady allows her to fall for anybody ever again..

But you should go and rent this movie! I'll even watch it again with you if you can't find anybody to see it with.. maybe I should just buy it when I get paid and then you can just come over and watch it with me.. what do you think? I'll make popcorn.. yeah I think that would be even nicer since I'm quite in the need of some loving right now..

Last two weeks have been crazy! I serioucly haven't had this much time off in Iceland since last summer! I mean I got almost 4 days off over the 5 day Easter weekend and this week I only had to work on Tuesday, Wednesday and today and I got yesterday off! I almost went beserk with all this free time! It was great! Having time to do the stuff I want to not just the stuff I need to do! I kind of got to see how my summer is going to be and I must say I really liked it!

The Easter weekend was all in all pretty sweet! I already told you guys about my dinner on Friday so I'll start from Saturday!
Well on Saturday I had to work but it was ok cause Silvie came and hungout with me almost the whole time! She's so awesome!
On Easter sunday I had a hot date with Silvie and Austin Powers cause we had decided to have a Austin marathon at her place so around 2 I headed over and we watched all three movies! yeah baby yeah! After the marathon I was pretty beat from all that TV watching since I don't do much of it usually so I thought I just hit the sack before 12 but well when I was walking home I got a call from my friends and they convinced me to come and hangout! so at around 1am I was sitting in a hot tube with 4 other people including one that didn't go in and chatting until around 3am! It was pretty nice! I gave two of my friends a lift and then drove straight home to go to bed.. 4 hours after I had decided I was just TOO tired to do anything more! hehehe..
On monday I just hung around.. did some work on my zine, had a few friends over and then Dísa my xveganx power girl came over and we went bike riding together! The weather was sooo nice so we biked to the beach and had a picknic there! It was awesome! Dísa is awesome!
So yeah that was my Easter weekend!
On Tuesday and Wednesday I didn't do much except work.. well not true I went to my friend Fannar who cooked dinner for me and Silvie and we watched Ice age numero uno! I love that movie and they hadn't seen it so it was a must to watch!

But yeah yesterday was the first day of summer! yay! I enjoyed my time from work by making blueberry pancakes for breakfast and then I spent most of the day just doing little things like sewing some of the patches I just got in the mail on my jacket, reading some of the zines and books I got and working on my comic zine! Pretty sweet ha? Then me, Fannar and Silvie went to see Ice Age numero dos at the cinema! I had already seen it but it's sooo freaking good that I went with them anyway!

So yeah that's what's up with me basically.. I'm keeping pretty busy these days.. Only a little over a month now until I quit working full time and I must say I'm looking forward to it! I can't wait to have time for the things I want to be doing and for my friends too! I even have a date now! the 2nd of June is my last full time day! then after that it's just every other weekend and something inbetween but only if I want to! sounds sweet right? I'm loving the thought of it and it's soo soon! man I can't wait!

Well I guess that's all for now.. I better get going.. I'm going to Fannar to make some dinner and then we're going to go all punk and just spend the night drawing for our zines and sewing.. sounds pretty sweet to me!

HI! (said in the same way my friend James says hi to people.. I can't do the high pitched voice but those who know him can probably hear it in their heads.. those who don't.. well just ignore this.. hehehe!)
So I'm not going to write a long blog post today.. I just came here to my parent's house to get my dad to help me fix the bike I'm buying of Silvie and will be my bestest mate this summer and I want to try it out before it gets too dark to see if it works!
BUT
I really wanted to write something nice and posi for the first post here before so I thought I would tell you what an amazing night I had last night! It was awesome and it made me so happy so please read..
SO
Last night I had a dinner party.. well more like a vegan feast!
The idea started when I told Trigger that I wanted to make a nut loaf this Easter weekend cause I'm getting so many days off and you who know me know that I NEVER get days off! So I invited my friend Silvie to join us cause she's from Germany (she's studying Icelandic at the UNI here) and I thought she might miss her family over the holiday and plus Trigger and I love her to death so we'll find any excuse to hangout with her really! hehehe.. :o)
Well so yeah then I mentioned this nut loaf making to few of my friends and in the end more and more people wanted to come and join in! so I decided to change this small dinner for 3 into a vegan feast! And it went really really well! LOADS of people showed up! I think in the end we were over 16 in our very small appartment! It was amazing! everybody brought something with them and in the end we had so much food! Everybody just ate until they couldn't get up and then we just sat around and talked and laughed and enjoyed each other company! I swear I was so happy last night and glad that the feast went as well as it did so even though I'm usually not very good with namedroping I want to say thanks to all the people that came over last night! you guys made this little girl so happy!

O and finally being the proud aunt that I am! This little fellow keeps a smile on my face even though he's miles apart..

I keep waiting for him to head over to Iceland again and bring over his beautiful mother that I love so much! Only a little over two months now! I can't wait!!!
